![]() I just finished reading Proof of Heaven by Eben Alexander, M.D. I couldn't put it down and the reason for that is that so much of it confirmed my own knowing. As I was reading I recalled instances of profound knowing without knowing how I knew-just that I knew. When you try to describe this knowing to someone else, you discover that words don't adequately convey your experience. If that someone is someone who knows you well and who also delves into the mystic, then you are heard. Otherwise I have been greeted with outright skepticism or that look-you know the one that manages to convey that without actually saying a word. I myself have been guilty of that look. It isn't until you experience a smidgen of this other place that you are willing to consider something else. And when your experiences broaden to encompass even more of it, then more of it is available to you. Ask and you shall receive. It isn't until we are willing to be in the question of unknowing that we can allow for any answers to be revealed to you. In the late 90's I began my journey into the mystic. I asked a question out of the depth of my despair and the universe, God, answered. I began to meditate which opened me up to something else, which led me to 6 years of sitting in a mediumship class which opened me up to something else and so on and so on. There was something wonderful unfolding and my time in the mediumship class gave me the confidence to allow for that. I was open to being aware of something else. The classes were pretty special but what has happened since is more than that. The classes allowed me to accept the knowings I received, the "visions" I encountered and the experiences that came my way. I remember one experience with great joy. I was receiving an aromatherapy massage from a very special man. On this occasion he held the web of my finger between my thumb and forefinger and I found myself in cradled place of both nothingness and everything. It was one of the most delicious, peaceful and loving experiences I have every had. I asked him after what he had done. He told me that everyone has a place on their body that he is called to and on that place he pours the universe into them. One of Eben Alexander's experiences reminded me of that again and I was in gratitude for the memory. I have had numerous experiences that have caused me to know that this earth, this reality isn't separate, that timelines are next to each other, that just over there are other realities layered upon ours, existing in one moment in time. I know that love is all there is. I know that our world and we are not broken. I know that all is well. How it will unfold is a mystery, but unfold it will and with each unfolding we will all be brought closer to the essence that we have been encoded with-love. As The Group writes-You are magnificent beings of light and love-period-each and every one of you. When your time to pass from your reality comes you will be welcomed with open arms and a great joyous celebration will ensue. You are loved. You are not broken-there is nothing to fix. And so if you are giving me that look-I am okay with that. It took me a long time to get to where I am and to own who I am. Weird doesn't always come easy. (smile) And I am finding that as I own this wonderful story that is my life, that others are drawn to my energy. As with Eben Alexander, the time has come to share who we are and our stories with the world. We are the ones we have been waiting for-each of us. On page 41 of his book he writes the message he was given. "You are loved and cherished, dearly, forever. You have nothing to fear. There is nothing you can do wrong."
