![]() Do you remember the scare about Ebola? How about the scare of the avian or the swine flu? Do you remember the fear that grew after that fatal day of 9/11? How many things have faded from your memory-until I mentioned them again? What new things will the media feed us? Last night the local news did a segment on the growing trend of beards and the bacteria that grows in them. I didn't watch it. (smile) The media is in the business of holding us captive to their station and the news as they find it and see it. Each station decides what they will air. They also decide what spin they will put on a particular piece. Are you letting yourself be influenced by the news that permeates our society? Does it stop you from living your life? Mostly it doesn't, but what it does can be far more insidious. If you let the news influence you, you will be affected by it. You may find yourself handcuffed by fear. I read this from Neale Donald Walsch this morning in this book Home With God. "Everything is as it appears. And appearances are based on perceptions. And perceptions are based on perspectives, and perspectives are not objective. They are subjective. They are not something that you experience they are something that you choose." If you focus on the current scare you will create more scary things in your world. But, if you choose to find the joy in life-wherever you can you will find more joy. Sounds like a good thing to me!

![]() Tick tock, tick tock goes the clock. For most of us the clock marks our days going by on planet earth. A new day begins or ends and some day we wonder where the time has gone! We have been busy but what have we done? Other days have been laid-back and we wonder what have we done? But what if it isn't a case of what we have done but a case of who we have been? Let me clarify that for you. Our being is the one who gets things accomplished. It can guide us in our doing and in our thinking. The very essence of who I be is all knowing when it comes to being the expert on me. If you are outside of me looking at my day you might wonder about me. What you don't know is that there is much going on that isn't apparent to others. I am letting my inner guidance guide me and some days it just wants to sit and muse and in that musing I can receive clarity or inspiration on what it is I want to do. If I make myself busy with stuff (we can all do that) then I am not leaving space for my guidance or my awareness to reveal what it needs me to know. I just might miss that subtle clue that wants me to pick up the phone and call someone. I don't always know what it is all about. Why do I have to call them? Maybe they have news for me-maybe I have something to tell them and maybe it is simply about connecting and sharing the love. (that is no small thing!) But back to the tick tock part. What if each day when you allow yourself to just be and in that being you are tapped in and turned on to your internal GPS? What if that GPS know exactly your destination and the best way in which to get there? Sometimes it is a scenic route and sometimes it is the highway. But you are your own best expert in knowing which route to take, if you are tuned in. So, if your destination is awaiting your arrival and you could be sure that you would get there, as you will, what could you be and then what could you do from the space of that knowing that allows for all possibilities? Your GPS will find its' way around any roadblocks-you just have to ask a question and be open to receiving your answer. So-take a few deep breaths-link in to you-say hello and then ask a question. You might want to ask this-what action do I need to take next? You might find that you get an immediate intuitive hit. My question to you is this-are you going to pay attention? ![]() There are many ways that you want to be romanced dear ones and we will tell you that you get what you give and you will only get what you are willing to receive. So let us break that down for you. How many of you are waiting to be romanced with large gestures that are fueled by what your media feeds you? Romance comes in many forms and the grand gestures, though very nice, can be few and far between. More commonly romantic gestures, which we call love gestures are smaller and often more subtle.
