Do you see how present this baby is to life? Can you see in her eyes that she knows that she is here on planet earth?
My story goes back about 12 years ago when I lived in Ontario. My neighbor proudly brought over her first grandchild to show me. As I bent down to welcome the child to planet earth-as I do- I realized that no one was home. It was like looking at a baby doll. I was startled and taken aback. Naturally, I did not mention it to her grandmother.
As I mused upon it I had the knowing that at that point in time, no one was home. The soul that infuses our body and makes us, who we are, either wasn't in fully yet or was off playing somewhere else or perhaps getting some last minute instructions.
The next time I saw her she was fully in, present and accounted for.
So, my knowing is that the soul that infuses our body isn't always present in the womb or even after for short periods or even exteneded periods of time. The soul is distinct. It is who we are and our bodies are wonderful too and they house our beings. The soul never dies and can not be killed. It simply and heartbreakingly, for those who love it, will move on.
This picture is of my first grandchild-present and accounted for, loved beyond measure and almost four years old now.
